Richard Hartsock, a Western Kentucky native, practicing out of our Bowling Green office brings a passion for detailed research and preparation to his practice in the areas of workers compensation defense and family law.
Richard takes pride in providing his clients with a clear understanding of the complex laws and regulations surrounding workers compensation, and counseling his clients on their rights and responsibilities in domestic relations matters. Richard thoroughly analyzes each case based on its particular facts, and provides clients with all available legal options.
Richard is highly active within the Bowling Green community, continually working to gain additional exposure to the challenges and solutions in the Western KY business environment.
Before joining FKP he practiced primarily in civil defense litigation, including tort and insurance defense, personal injury (focusing on auto accidents and premises liability), civil rights defense, contract actions and appeals. In addition to these areas, Richard is experienced in many facets of domestics relations, including juvenile court proceedings, as both court appointed counsel in Dependency, Abuse, Neglect and Termination of Parental Rights actions and as a court-approved Guardian Ad Litem.
Richard has published articles including Richard W. Hartsock, Note, Sext Ed.: Students’ Fourth Amendment Rights in Technological Age, 37 N. KY. L. REV. 192 (2010) and was a 2014 Pro Bono Publico Award Honoree.
